What can I use the hours for?
Anything under the DB umbrella – performance tuning, health checks, automation, disaster recovery, schema design, etc.
Can I change the plan later?
Yes. Upgrades are allowed after the current billing period. Downgrades can be discussed but only after the minimum term.
Do hours roll over?
No. Each month resets. Plans are structured for consistency and availability.
Do I need to provide tools?
Yes. “Your Tools, Your Licenses, and My Skills.” I integrate with your setup.
Will I get a detailed timesheet?
Work summaries are shared in ~15-minute blocks. I don’t support micromanaged time logs or webcam-based monitoring.
Can you use our project/time tracking tools?
Yes – that’s an edge I bring. I adapt to your systems: Jira, Trello, Asana, Clockify, etc.
What about urgent issues outside hours?
In production-down or critical scenarios, I step in regardless of primary working hours.
Can I pause my retainer?
In special cases, yes – for vacations or internal pauses. Let’s discuss and align expectations.
Is there a contract?
Yes – a simple terms document. NDA welcomed. No heavy legalese or law firm back-and-forth.
Is this support or a replacement for hiring?
Both. Think of me as a plug-in for your team – faster than hiring, more reliable than freelancers.
What happens after the retainer ends?
You can renew, upgrade, or stop – no pressure. If we’ve built momentum, we’ll likely continue.
What’s the working timezone?
IST (India). For critical needs, I’m flexible. We define any overlaps or exceptions ahead of time.
