Yes, there is a contract. It is a clear and simple document. I welcome an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement). I avoid complex legal language. There will be no long legal arguments.

Business Terms

1. Engagement Plans

  • Enterprise: 120-160 hours per month
  • Standard: 40-80 hours per month
  • Express: 15-30 hours per month
  • All plans must be prepaid. There is a minimum term of 3 months. Unused hours do not carry over.

2. Communication & Availability

  • My main working time is IST (Indian Standard Time).
  • We will use your preferred tools for communication. This includes Slack, email, or Teams.
  • I will handle critical issues fast. This is true even if it is outside regular hours.

3. Tools & Infrastructure

  • I will use your existing systems and platforms.
  • I will provide my expertise, guidance, and execution support.
  • We must agree on any extra tools or infrastructure beforehand.

4. Confidentiality & Data Protection

  • I will treat all your information as confidential.
  • I will not share information outside of our project scope.
  • I will sign an NDA if you ask me to.
  • I will remove your data from my systems when the project ends.

5. Dispute Resolution

  • We will try to solve disagreements through direct discussion first.
  • We have 15 days to find a resolution before escalation.
  • We prefer mediation before taking legal action.
  • The legal location will be based on what we agree to.

6. Force Majeure (Unforeseen Events)

  • This section covers natural disasters, power outages, conflicts, or unexpected events.
  • Both parties must tell each other quickly if this happens.
  • Work duties may be paused temporarily.
  • Either party can end the contract after 30 days if the issue is not solved.

7. Amendments & Modifications

  • All changes must be written down.
  • Verbal agreements are not binding.
  • New terms replace old ones when both parties agree.

8. Termination & Exit Terms

  • You can end the contract after the initial lock-in period. You must give written notice.
  • Prepaid hours are non-refundable.
  • We will finalize the handover together.
  • I will leave your systems cleanly and securely.

9. Ownership of Work

  • All my work and deliverables are your property.
  • I keep no rights to reuse or share the work without your permission.

10. Reporting & Time Logs

  • I will give you summaries of my work at agreed times.
  • I do not use screen recording or intrusive tracking.
  • You can ask for detailed reporting if you need it.

11. Adoption of Client Systems

  • I will integrate with your tools and workflow.
  • This ensures I coordinate well with your internal teams.

12. Usage Flexibility

  • You can use the hours for any executive, advisory, or operational task.
  • I will not micromanage how you assign the hours.

13. Vacation / Pauses

  • We must discuss and agree on any pauses in advance.
  • This is subject to fair use and operational needs.
  • We will review these policies regularly for clarity.

14. Policy Guidance

  • These guidelines help the project run smoothly. They do not restrict it.
  • Adjustments are possible if we work together for a long time.

15. FAQ Reference

  • A separate FAQ document covers questions about billing, availability, and upgrades.

16. Entire Agreement

  • This document is the full agreement between us.
  • It replaces all previous agreements, written or spoken, unless noted here.
